For the ladies who love fall, and love to cook.
So, I have to say Fall baking/cooking is THE best. My favorite! I have come across some pretty tasty recipes for fall, so I figured I would share!!
Pumpkin Oats (I did not create this, just tweaked a recipie to fit what I enjoy)
1/2 cup quick oats
enough vanilla almond milk to cover oats
3 tsp pumpkin puree
splash of cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
drizzle of Agave nectar
-Microwave for 1.30. I topped mine with some brown sugar and bananna slices! DEELICIOUS! I also made some coffee. I put cinnamon and nutmeg in the grounds before it brewed, YUMMY! Almond milk for creamer=less calories!
Hearty Potatoe Soup (not my recipie either, just my tweakin!)
*8 potatoes (peeled and cut in 1/2 cubes)
*2 carrots (peeled and chopped)
*3 celery stocks (chopped)
*3 table spoons minced garlic
--Boil above with some water for 20 minutes--
Meanwhile, if meat is your thing,
*Brown italian sauage(we didnt' do this, but you can)
*Sautee chopped onion with Sausage or alone
---In a dutch oven
*Melt 1/4 cup cutter with 1/4 cup flour until thick and creamy
*Slowly add 8 cups of milk (stir frequently)
*Add some parsley, basil, celery seed, salt and pepper & 1 chicken bouillon
--Go back to potatoe mixture, take out 2 cups of mixture and mash. Add back to chunky potatoe mix, add onion mixture, and milk mixture together. Stir.
--Top with cheese and chives! DELIC!
